Check this out!

A few weeks ago my family was talking about who in my family Lily looks like. Some people have been saying my mother, other say my cousin Tricia. My mom was the one who said she really thinks that she looks like my cousin Karen when she was little. I wouldn't know because my cousin Karen is several years older than I am, I don't know what she looked like as a baby. Well my mom was going through some old photos for a project I am working on and she found this.

A picture of my cousin Karen. Karen on the top, Lily on the bottom. Their mouth is not the same, but wow the eyes and shape of their face. Pretty amazing huh?

More Projects

Tonight is Gabriel's Preschool graduation. I had to make some teacher gifts. My revolution tool has been cranking for two days straight. I made two different teacher thank you cards for them to use. They will each get 20 of them.

Schoolcards

The one on the right may look familar to you. We made it several years for a make and take. It uses the 4x4 chalkboard shape, thanks from the cookie cutter basic phrases and the apple is from the school shape set. The other uses the flower border die as the backgound for the shapes in the school shape set. They were fun to make. Both cards are inspired by ideas I found on the QuicKutz website.

www.lovemyqkutz.com is still down. The web hosting company is really making me angry. I will post again, and be sending some emails out once we are back up and running. Hopefully in the next few hours.

Great Stuff!

All kinds of great stuff going on lately. First of all, I should say, my website is down right now (NOT GREAT STUFF) and I will be extending the XTRA20 (extra 20% off most products) code for several days once it is back online. Sorry! The hosting company is working on it and I can't do anything about it.

Next, I have been playing with the NEW QuicKutz Embossing Folders. Not only are they GREAT STUFF, but they are AWESOME. Here are three cards I made using them. Two of these will be projects for our QuicKutz Club meeting in a few weeks!

Mayproject

While making these cards I found my new favorite QuicKutz product. It is the square nesting labels that I used on the hi and happy hellos card. LOVE them. I could use those on every card I ever make. Great Stuff!

Today I did some fun things. First of all, the kids Ryan and I went to my friend Jenn C. log home construction site. As many of you know, we will one day be building a log home. It had been Ryan and my dream for many years now, and hopefully it will become a reality in the next 5 years. Anyway, today we went to Jenn's to check out the construction site and see their home while it is in progress. It was so cool. I just love the process. I am so excited for Jenn and her family, they have been planning this home for so long and it is finally happening. So despite the mud, having to climb a high ladder and worrying Gabe would tumble to the ground below on more than one occasion, it was really nice to check it out. Thanks Jenn and Brian, we will be back soon (hopefully without the kids and once you have those steps in)! GREAT STUFF!

Also, today I did a photo shoot with the kids. I have been wanting to do this for months and today was finally the day. This is my favorite of the two of them together and Lily by herself. GREAT STUFF!
